Design Phase:

In-Home Consultation

We will schedule an appointment to visit your home to look at your project.  At this meeting,

any photos from magazines, lists of wants and needs, and your ideas, are helpful in creating the

direction for your project.  The scope and budget would be discussed with you.

Design Agreement

Once you decide to proceed with us, you would be asked to sign a Retainer/Design Agreement to

begin the process of design choices, consultation and arrangement for an hourly negotiated fee.  This

fee would include photography, measurements of the project site, sketches and ideas for design,

based on our consultation.  Next, a design meeting is agreed upon to discuss these ideas, preliminary

plans and material choices.  The meeting will include a realistic cost estimate, with possible

alternatives.

Finalizing the Design

If your goals for this project and our budget are consistent, we will proceed by creating the

architectural plans (as needed - floor, structural, electrical, mechanical).  Working together, a

contract would be developed to include a detailed scope of work and all material selections.  Upon

required signatures to perform the work, the Retainer/Design Agreement is credited back toward the

contract price.

Construction Phase:

Preliminary Operations

Once a signed contract has been agreed upon, we will begin ordering materials.  We will acquire

the necessary building permits and a project timeline is created with a completion date to help you

monitor the progression of your project.  Most of the materials will be delivered from to your

home, once checked and approved by the installation staff.  This process of delivery is staggered

according to your project timeline.

Construction Phase

A parking plan is formed and your neighbors are notified prior to implementation.  We will assist

with the relocation of your household items and possibly set up temporary facilities for use during

construction.  Proper floor, wall and dust protection will be installed before any work begins.

Hazardous waste and lead paint abatement are professionally removed, and debris is removed from

your home and recycled.
