This traditional Sunset District home (San Francisco) received a welcomed conversion from a water closet to a full bathroom. This glamorous update included the removal of a wall, the addition of wainscoting, tile floors, quartz countertops, and cultured marble in the shower.

The continuity of the lighter marble field tile enhances the upper and lower darker border, while using the existing bathtub and pedestal sink to highlight the same design on the floor, to create a feeling of openness in this small space.

The circular fixed window becomes the focal point of this bathroom, as the off-white brick tile from the Tileshop extends the full height of the wall, to the upper crown.  Further enhanced by wood wainscot, the claw foot bathtub, and oval pedestal sink rest atop a ceramic tile floor to complete this art deco look.

With a touch of Southern California sunshine, this charming early 1950’s home was in need of modern renovations that included wood wainscot, two Kohler pedestal sinks, a new shower pan, with glass tile from Import Tile, in a brick layout that incorporated a metal edge.  To complete the look, hardwood floor tiles were used to accentuate the dual medicine cabinets.

Baths

Tileshop ceramic tile is used to create a spa-like experience in this bathroom with the claw foot bathtub.  The wainscot installed in a brick layout with a darker boarder, was used to enhance the antique cherry brown vanity with granite top, to provide a personalized space with a touch of luxury.
